In view of the global situation, in which democracies are becoming increasingly rare and authoritarian forms of government are on the rise, Birger P. Priddat's lecture presents possible future developments. Is democracy under threat? Will there only be authoritarian governments in the future?

Birger P. Priddat is Emeritus Professor of Economics and Philosophy at the UW/H.
