Information event for anesthetists, nursing staff working in anesthesia and emergency medical personnel.
The two-day symposium provides an overview of current developments in anesthesia, intensive care medicine, emergency medicine and pain and palliative medicine in children and creates a close link to daily practice. Renowned experts in pediatric anesthesia have their say and present their topics in a clear manner. In addition, speakers from other specialist areas will provide insights into their work, as interdisciplinarity and a change of perspective play an important role - not only in clinical work, but also in further education and training. During the event breaks, there will be the opportunity to talk to the speakers and other participants.
In order to acquire or expand practical skills, participants can attend workshops in which they can train the technique of ultrasound-guided caudal anesthesia and video-assisted intubation methods. There will also be a workshop on “Resuscitation of the newborn”, in which the most important measures immediately after birth can be discussed and practiced on a phantom.
Further information on the program content and registration options can be found on the event page.
