Before the university society dives into the intensive learning and examination phase, the campus will become a lively place of social interaction.

A broad, colorful, and inviting program is offered by the Hochschulwerk (HSW) for students, employees, and citizens of the city, aiming to make the campus not only a place of academics but also a place of encounter.

To this end, HSW has brought together various initiatives and actors for a program full of music, drinks, and small workshops: Thus, an open clothes swap will be offered by "Oikos" on the university meadows, "Die Radgeberin" will hold a seminar on how to repair bicycles by yourself, from the university's sports offer there will be yoga classes, a local artist will offer a joint painting on a large canvas, with "Kijamii" a coffee tasting will be initiated, the Café Larix will be open and regional actors like "Kuzey Grill" will take care of the catering.

The "Ivory Kollektiv" (an association of local DJs from the Ruhr area who have already enriched the musical-cultural scene in Witten through their event at Haus Witten) will transform the roof terraces of the new building into a summer bar under relaxed disco tunes, and the Unikat will turn the university garden into an inviting dance floor.
