Together with around 500 companies, foundations and associations, we are sending a strong signal against right-wing extremism and for freedom, diversity and openness to the world with the Zusammenland campaign.

"Our university thrives on the diversity of perspectives, cultures and experiences of its students, teaching staff and employees," said UW/H President Prof. Dr. Martin Butzlaff and Chancellor Jan Peter Nonnenkamp. "For us, it goes without saying that we stand up for open-mindedness, respect and democracy and together send a clear signal against right-wing extremism."

The campaign includes two full-page advertisements in the WISSEN section of DIE ZEIT (published on February 29) as well as digital outdoor advertising. The motif will also be used in newspapers, in public spaces and on the social web. UW/H also shared the motifs via Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook, Threads and X.

The initiative was launched by ZEIT, Handelsblatt, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Tagesspiegel, WirtschaftsWoche and Ströer.
